The Total War franchise has been running for decades, and is more popular now than it has ever been. For the most part, the most recent entries have stuck true to the franchise’s origins, allowing for obscenely complicated management of continent spanning war empires. But now, with the addition of the Warhammer license, real time battle also include giant ogre units, that can literally crush infantry beneath their horned feet.
All in all, Total War: Warhammer 2 has an extremely steep learning curve, but is also deeply rewarding, and visually spectacular.

Half-Life: Alyx
What, Half-Life is finally back? But it’s a PC exclusive title, and will only run on VR?
Yes, we understand the deep controversy that surrounds Half-Life: Alyx. But look at it another way; making the game PC exclusive also allowed it to be the best possible version of itself. The VR requirement on the other hand, we do find a touch oppressive.

Disco Elysium
It doesn’t get much more PC than Disco Elysium. The vast, vast majority of the game is reading, making choices, and otherwise getting invested in a story. A few choices will have to be made, but for the most part there isn’t much difference between this, and settling in with a great novel.
There is virtually no way that a game like this can fly well in a graphics-focused console world, which is exactly why it is so fantastic that a platform as diverse as the PC exists. Because, as it turns out, Disco Elysium is also one of the best experiences you can have playing a video game.
Yes, we are aware that Disco Elysium technically is going to be release on consoles eventually in 2021, but we’d also like to point out that the game is very clearly aimed at the PC market.
